Aberla Utilities awarded place on YPO’s Telecoms Framework
Aberla Utilities has secured a four-year agreement to provide its specialist network and telecommunications capabilities through YPO’s new telecoms framework to public and private sector clients.
YPO is one of the largest public sector buying organisations in the UK with an annual turnover in excess of £1.1billion. They supply public organisations with approximately 30,000 products across 80 framework contracts.
The YPO Network Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions Framework will include sourcing, procurement, delivery and support for local area networks, digital infrastructure, smart cities and communications services
Aberla Utilities, selected alongside the likes of O2 and TalkTalk and a selection of telecom SMEs, will be providing their expertise in delivering digital infrastructure. Aberla is vastly experienced in surveying, designing and managing public operator networks, installing multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and developing fibre to the premises (FTTP) networks.
Paul McCarren, Aberla’s CEO said, “We are delighted to have been appointed to YPO’s framework. Our capabilities, paired with our experience in partnering with public sector clients, makes Aberla a perfect fit for this framework.”
Fibre network infrastructure is becoming increasingly important as the industry is ramping up to achieve the Government’s target of “Full Fibre by 2025.”
