M&E heating framework win
Aberla M&E awarded place on Carlisle CC Energy Efficiency Framework
Carlisle City Council has awarded Aberla M&E a place on their Energy Efficiency Measures Framework for heating installations. Technologies to be installed include heating and energy systems, air source heat pumps, conventional gas boilers, solar PV and electric storage heaters.
The framework is delivered by Homelife Carlisle, Carlisle City Council’s Home Improvement Agency, and is designed to offer Carlisle residents the opportunity to reduce their energy expenditure through installing energy efficiency measures.
The Aberla team is carrying out site surveys, feasibility studies and then undertaking the installations. Aberla has implemented a dedicated team to service the contract and has already started the installation phase for multiple properties.
Paul McCarren, managing director at Aberla, said “We’re delighted to have been selected by Carlisle City Council for this project. This contract compliments our growing presence in the residential heating and energy efficiency installation market, as we work alongside other local authorities across the country. Building new partnerships is key to Aberla’s business strategy, and we hope that this newly forged relationship with Carlisle will herald a long and prosperous strategic partnership.”
Emma Moraitis, Home Improvement Agency team leader said “We’ve been impressed by Aberla’s desire to be a long-term partner and their ability to deliver all aspects of the project, from initial feasibilities to project completion/handover. We look forward to working with such a professional and experienced business.”
Aberla sees the residential installation market as a key sector. Councils have declared a climate emergency, highlighting the importance of renewable energy and energy efficiency measures in tackling environmental concerns, and the Aberla Group is well-positioned to provide M&E and Energy services.
The Council’s Energy Efficiency Scheme is for private homeowners, who are in need of a new heating system, and meet certain criteria. For more information about the scheme please contact Homelife Carlisle at email@example.com or on 01228 817 111.
