Aberla’s Directors accredited with IOSH certification
Members of the Aberla Group’s Board of Directors have been awarded their latest accreditation from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world’s largest health and safety membership body.
Aberla’s managing director, commercial director, finance director and strategy and sustainability director participated virtually in IOSH’s Safety for Executives and Directors course, exploring the importance of quality in managing the organisation’s health and safety.
The training is for senior personnel with strategic responsibility within an organisation, providing a framework for how to manage a quality health and safety management system. Items covered include:
- The moral, legal and financial case for health and safety
- Planning for health and safety
- Implementing for health and safety
- Monitoring health and safety performance
- Improving health and safety performance
Having a strong health and safety culture is particularly important for businesses operating in the critical industries of construction, telecommunications and energy, as hazardous situations are prone and can be dangerous. This training is yet another example of Aberla taking extra steps to ensure operations continue safely.

This training with allow the directors to improve a health and safety management which has already been accredited with its ISO 45001 accreditation this year, as Aberla continues to evidence proactive measures to improve the business.
