Aberla has been assessed and awarded accreditation by The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), an industry leader for UK health and safety.

Aberla is continually striving to improve its health and safety performance, in order to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. Upon successful review of current H&S policies, we made the decision to apply for the assessment scheme. We strive to put health and safety at the forefront of all our activities, and the CHAS accreditation will help us to guarantee health and safety remains a cornerstone of our operations.

CHAS was created by experienced health and safety professions in 1997, with the aim of improving health and safety by standardising requirements. As a founder of third party accreditations, CHAS is both an advisor and an authority on health and safety, setting industry benchmarks and providing assurance to accredited organisations.

To become CHAS accredited, organisations must complete a detailed application, followed by audits to prove health and safety compliance. To retain an accreditation, an organisation must reapply annually, proving their dedication to recognised health and safety standards.

Having nationally recognised and compliant health and safety standards is important to us and Aberla is proud to receive the CHAS accreditation.
