Aberla Group successfully renews Safe Contractor and CHAS Accreditations
The Aberla Group is proud to have renewed their Safe Contractor and CHAS accreditations and be able to show our health and safety processes and procedures are industry leading. Both accreditations were first obtained by Aberla in 2018 and have been regained every year since.
Safe Contractor is a Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) founding member that is recognised by thousands of organisations and helps businesses to validate their commitment to health and safety.
CHAS is a leading accreditation scheme that assesses risk prevention, compliance, and procedural standards. The aim of CHAS is to safeguard organisations from risk and promote robust supply chain management.
Both accreditations certify that Aberla’s health and safety procedures are up to standard, are operating correctly and comply with current legislation.
In order to achieve accreditation renewal, Aberla must be assessed annually and be able to show the same high standards, year on year.
The assessments are based on a variety of topics, which are relevant to health and safety, such as:
- Training processes
- Occupational health
- PPE requirements
- Subcontractor assessing
- Construction phase plans
Mark Ingham, managing director at Aberla commented, “Renewing our current accreditations is necessary to show that we are up to date with current legislation and compliant with all health and safety procedures. Aberla aims to work to a high standard through the businesses we operate, and these accreditations show our commitment to health and safety across the group.”
As a result, clients can be assured that Aberla is continuously monitoring its procedures and ensuring that all staff are safe and work is kept to a high standard.
