Aberla M&E has commenced work at Worrall Street, Salford

North West based Aberla M&E, part of the Aberla Group, has started work on site at Worrall Street, an 86-apartment scheme in Salford.

Aberla M&E is delivering the full MEP package, including design and supply. Currently, Aberla is working on the first fix of the development and installing infrastructure into the risers and corridors. Aberla M&E will soon be completing additional building services including:

  • Mechanical & electrical apartment fitouts
  • Mechanical & electrical building infrastructure
  • Ventilation
  • Fire & security
  • Smoke vent
  • BMS
  • TV & data

The £12m contemporary development will consist of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments across 9 storeys with modern amenities such as a gymnasium and a resident’s lounge.

The Worrall Street project is the latest of several developments that Aberla has carried out in the Manchester and Salford area, with the likes of Queen Street, Burlington Square and Local Crescent all contributing to Aberla’s work and supporting the Northern Powerhouse property boom.

Daniel Strosnider, strategy and sustainability director at Aberla said, “The Worrall Street project is one of many sites that Aberla M&E is working on currently. Progression is coming along nicely, and everyone is looking forward to seeing the outcome.”

The project is due to be completed in February 2022 and will then be handed back over to project developers for sign off.
